Eloise

Eloise Slipper, daughter of Jay and Kathryn Slipper of Oconomowoc, will receive $12,000 over four years as the recipient of a Hilbert Scherffius Scholarship on behalf of the Oconomowoc Area Foundation. Eloise plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison to pursue degrees in English and Theater. During her time at OHS, she was a member of the Creative Writing Club and mentored students on Creative Arts Writing Day. She held various positions with the OHS Players and Box Theater Co. and is a member of the International Thespian Society.

Additionally, she held leadership positions with Junior State of America, Global Scholars Program, Students for Unity, Link Crew, and the National English, Spanish, Social Studies, and Science Societies. Eloise works at Mathnasium as an instructor and volunteers with the Oconomowoc Public Library summer reading program.
