Sophia Kovach transferred to OHS from the Kenosha area for her senior year, and teachers say she quickly stepped into leadership roles. They describe her as “kind, creative and compassionate.” Sophia says it was a dream come true when she landed a job as a student intern at the Oconomowoc Animal Hospital.

She plans to attend Ocean City College to pursue studies in health sciences. Sophia will receive $3,000 over two years from the Oconomowoc Scholarship Fund. She is the daughter of John Kovach of Oconomowoc and Sarah Kovach of Pleasant Prairie.
