Our Scholarship Programs

Scholarships are available to any Oconomowoc Area School District resident who:

  • Is/was enrolled at Oconomowoc High School for at least four semesters

  • Is/was a graduating senior of any accredited high school while living within the geographic boundary of Oconomowoc Area School District 

Criteria considered in the selection process includes: Financial need, academic achievement, citizenship, good character, and career goals. The application must be complete before it can be considered.  The decision of the Oconomowoc Scholarship Fund regarding selection of scholarship recipients is final.

The Oconomowoc Scholarship Fund provides scholarships for graduating high school seniors. Scholarships are available for two-year or four-year programs

at accredited secondary schools.

Types of scholarships offered:

  • $12,000 - Paid at $3,000 per year ($1,500 per semester) for a four-year program

  • $3,000 - Paid at $1,500 per year ($750 per semester) for a two-year program at a technical college  

  • ​$5,000 - A one-time George Andrew Markham Award for a student who pursues a degree in music, theater or art.

Applicants who do not receive the Markham Scholarship will automatically be considered for a $3,000 per year scholarship.

Students who remain in good standing are able to renew the scholarship for each year of study, excluding the one-time George Andrew Markham Award.
